The Victoriaville Tigres have cut import left winger Roope Rajala.
Rajala, 18, only played nine games with the Tigres, scoring just one point (0+1).
As it stands Roope Rajala doesn't have a landing spot, but will likely return to Finland.
He was the Tigres second round pick in the 2024 CHL Import draft at pick #100, after a 31-point season (15+16) with the Tappara Tampere Under-18 team.
This opens up an import slot for Victoriaville.
One could imagine a potential return overager Nikita Prischepov who is with the Colorado Eagles of the AHL, however that seems unlikely for the moment as he's at four points (1+3) over his first six pro games and their parent team, the Colorado Avalanche, are riddled with injury.
