The Carolina Hurricanes will once again be without Andrei Svechnikov and Dmitry Orlov as the Canes take on the Detroit Red Wings tonight.
Hurricanes coach Rod Brind'Amour confirmed pre-game that neither Russian will suit up.
"I thought Orlov could probably play today, but I think it's just wise to wait until he's 100%," Brind'Amour said. "Svech was still not feeling great and hasn't practiced. I would hope next week, but I don't know."

Svechnikov will be missing a second straight game after sustaining an upper-body injury against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday.
The winger has 18 goals and 43 points in 63 games this season.
Orlov will be missing a fourth straight game due to a "minor injury." The defenseman has been practicing with the team and Brind'Amour stated that he should be "right around the corner," but it's just a holding pattern for now.
Neither player is anticipated to be out long-term.
