

The 2025 NHL Draft Lottery is now in the books, and the Columbus Blue Jackets, they fell one spot to the 14th overall selection. They entered the night slotted in the 13th spot going into the Draft Lottery.
This pick gives the Blue Jackets another chance to add to their rebuild—or potentially use the selection as part of a larger trade this offseason, possibly to address their goaltending situation. Either way, with the lottery now behind us, the teams that heard their names called tonight will shift their focus to the NHL Draft, which takes place June 27–28.
