Carolina Hurricanes center Sebastian Aho was named as one of the first six players for the Finnish Olympic team.

Aho is third amongst all active Finnish players for points (631) and goals (283), sitting behind only Aleksander Barkov and Mikko Rantanen, both of whom also made the team.

The 27-year-old forward is not only one of the best hockey players from Finland, but also one of the top players in the world.

The centerman is an elite, two-way player who can play in any situation and his versatility is perfect for a tournament like the Olympics.

The 2026 Winter Olympics will be held in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy on Feb. 6-22, 2026.
