The Tampa Bay Lightning have made a roster move, recalling forward Cam Atkinson from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.

Atkinson, 35, was placed on waivers on March 4 and then sent down to the Crunch after clearing them. Now, after a week down in the AHL, Atkinson is heading back to the Lightning's roster.

Atkinson has appeared in 37 games this season with the Lightning, where he has three goals, eight points, and a minus-3 rating. This is after he had 13 goals, 28 points, and a minus-22 rating in 70 games with the Philadelphia Flyers this past season.

Atkinson will now look to make a big impact after getting this call-up to the Lightning's roster. Let's see if he can do just that from here.
