Chicago picks up a big road win in Green Bay to extend its win streak.

Don’t look now, but the Chicago Steel are hot.

The club won their fourth straight game Saturday night in Green Bay against the Gamblers 2-1.

Despite being outshot 36-25, the Steel held Green Bay to one goal, marking the third time this season they have given up two goals or less to the Gamblers.

Chicago grabbed a 1-0 lead at the 12:04 mark of the second period on Tobias Ohman’s eighth goal of the season. He has scored a goal in consecutive games and has four points (2-2-4) and a +3 rating in the past two outings.

Saturday was Teddy Bear Toss Night in Green Bay, and the Gamblers fans finally got to toss their stuffed animals onto the ice when Lukas Peterson tied the score 1-1 with eight minutes to play in the third.

Three minutes later, however, Reid Conn got the lead back for the Steel, putting them back in front 2-1, which would prove to be the game-winner. The Steel captain and New Hampshire commit has a goal and five assists over his last seven games.

Jack Parsons played an outstanding game in net for Chicago, saving 35 of 36 shots to earn his fourth straight win and ninth of the season. The Providence commit has been in net in all four of Chicago’s victories during this four-game winning streak.

Chicago was a perfect 4-for-4 on the penalty-kill against the Gamblers, who have the top power-play unit in the USHL. Green Bay is 0-for-9 on the man advantage over its last four games.
