Just four games around the USHL on Wednesday night. Here is a rundown on each.

Green Bay 5, Chicago 1

The Gamblers used three third-period goals to skate past the visiting Steel.

  • Green Bay's Will Zellers (COL) tallied his 14th goal of the season and extended his point streak to a USHL-leading ten games.
  • Cruz Martin potted his first USHL goal and added an assist in the third period.
  • Chicago's Ashton Schultz scored his seventh goal of the season and now has goals in three of his last four games.
  • Gamblers netminder Gavin Moffatt turned aside 17-of-18 and collected his third straight win.

Youngstown 5, NTDP U-17s 4

The Phantoms scored three times in the first period and added a pair of goals in the third.

  • Five different skaters found the back of the net for Youngstown, including Landan Resendes who has goals in three of his last four games.
  • Adam Benak picked up a primary assist in the third period and extended his point streak to eight games.
  • Team USA's JP Hurlbert recorded his ninth USHL goal and has five tallies in his last four games.
  • The Youngstown Phantoms extended their win streak to eight games.

Lincoln 5, Tri-City 0

The Lincoln Stars used three third-period goals and extended their win streak to two games.

  • Lincoln's Caeden Herrington tallied a pair of goals, marking his first multi-goal game in the USHL.
  • Drew DellaSalla recorded a goal and an assist, giving him his first multi-point game of the season.
  • William Prowse turned aside all 35 shots and earned his first career USHL shutout.
  • Lincoln improved to 11-0-0-0 when scoring first this season.

Sioux City 3, Fargo 2

Justin Stupka broke a 2-2 tie in the third period in Sioux City's win over visiting Fargo.

  • Fargo's Merril Steenari recorded his league-leading 15th goal and now has five goals in his last three games.
  • Sioux City's Nicholas Sykora tied the game on his ninth of the season and his third in his last three games.
  • Musketeers goaltender Samuel Urban stopped 26-of-28, snapping a four-game skid.
  • Sioux City's Olivers Murnieks picked up a primary assist in the third period and his 12 points overall are tied for fifth among all USHL rookies.
