    Muskegon Lumberjacks defenseman Xavier Veilleux (NYI) picked up some USHL hardware after potting three points this past weekend.

    The New York Islanders draft pick was named USHL Defenseman of the Week on Monday,

    The 18-year-old blueliner amassed three points (all assists) and a +6 plus/minus rating in the Muskegon Lumberjacks' weekend split at home.

    Veilleux tallied a pair of assists on Friday and another primary helper on Saturday.

    He's up to five points (all assists) through the first 11 games of the 2024-25 season.

    Forward of the Week: Alexei Vlasov (Sioux Falls)

    Alexei Vlasov (2026) has wasted no time making his presence felt.

    The 16-year-old Russian forward accumulated four goals on five shots and a +4 in two games this weekend.

    Vlasov scored his first and second career markers in a five-goal third period for the Herd in Saturday's 6-4 win over Des Moines.

    He followed that up with another two-goal performance, including the game-winner, which came 26 seconds into the game, in Sioux Falls' 5-0 shutout over Omaha on Sunday.

    Goalie of the Week: Alan Lendak (Fargo)

    Alan Lendak guided the Fargo Force to a pair of wins this weekend, extending the team's winning streak to five games.

    The Slovakian netminder stopped a combined 46-of-51 shots on goal, including 22 saves in Fargo's overtime win on Friday.

    Lendak turned around and delivered a 24-save performance in the Force's 5-3 win on Saturday to complete the weekend sweep over Omaha.
