The Vegas Golden Knights are still searching for their first road victory of the season, and their objective gets tougher with the return of Edmonton Oilers' superstar Connor McDavid.
McDavid had been out of the lineup since Monday, Oct. 28, with an ankle injury that was likely to keep him out for two-three weeks. In his true superhuman form, McDavid has recovered in just nine days and was a full participant at Edmonton's practice and will skate tonight alongside Jeff Skinner and Zach Hyman.
"Feels pretty good," McDavid said after Monday's practice. "Not too much limiting me on the ice. I'm happy with how it feels."
The 27-year-old has three goals and 10 points in his first 10 games this season. The Oilers are 6-6-1 on the season and were 2-1-0 without him.
Adin Hill will be tasked with stopping McDavid and will be starting his second consecutive game with Ilya Samsonov remaining in Vegas due to an injury. Akira Schmid will once again back up the Canadian netminder.
