    Welcome to this edition of THN's 2025 WHL Playoffs Daily Recap. This recurring article will provide summaries of action from the WHL post-season throughout the playoffs. Here is a look at the trio of games from April 19.

    Calgary Hitmen 1, Lethbridge Hurricanes 5
    Series Tied 3-3

    Despite a scoreless first period, the Hurricanes put on a show for their home fans in game six. Lethbridge lit up for four second period goals, headed by Noah Chadwick, and while Calgary managed one late in the third it was not enough. Brayden Edwards tacked on a fifth goal, and the Hurricanes return to Calgary on Wednesday to attempt to close out the series on the road.

    3 Stars:
    Lethbridge: Noah Chadwick- 2 Goals
    Lethbridge: Miguel Marques- 2 Assists
    Lethbridge: Brayden Edwards- 1 Goal, 1 Assist 

    Spokane Chiefs 5, Victoria Royals 4
    Spokane Leads Series 3-2

    Spokane will not go down without a fight. The Royals scored four of the first five goals of this game, totaling four different goal scorers, but Andrew Cristall had other plans. The Washington Capitals prospect assisted on two of three third period Chiefs goals, and swatted home the overtime winner with just two seconds remaining in the frame. The Chiefs now head home for games six and seven, with the hope that they just need one more game.

    Spokane: Andrew Cristall- 1 Goal (GWG), 3 Assists
    Victoria: Keaton Verhoeff- 2 Assists
    Spokane: Berkly Catton- 1 Goal, 2 Assists

    Portland Winterhawks 4, Everett Silvertips 8
    Series Tied 3-3

    Everett showed what they were made of on Saturday night, as they were in the driver's seat the entire game. Landon DuPont scored with 17 seconds left to take a 3-1 lead into the first intermission, and Jesse Heslop added another just 30 seconds into the middle frame. Portland started a rally midway through, making it 5-3, but the Silvertips did not let go and scored three of the game's final four goals to take a tied series back home to Everett.

    Everett: Tyler MacKenzie- 1 Goal, 2 Assists
    Everett: Austin Roest- 1 Goal, 3 Assists
    Everett: Landon DuPont- 1 Goal, 2 Assists
