A recap of this week's THN's WHL Game of the Week featuring the Moose Jaw Warriors and the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Welcome to this week's edition of THN's WHL Game of the Week. In this weekly column, we break down one of the most exciting games from the weekend that was. This week, we examine a back-and-forth affair between the Moose Jaw Warriors and the Brandon Wheat Kings.

It didn't take long for the home team to get on board as Rylen Roersma's 11th of the season gave the Wheat Kings an early 1-0 lead just 1:20 into the game. Moose Jaw would eventually find an equalizer as Dakota MacIntosh's third of the year at 9:38 tied the game at one. Brandon would once again take the lead at 14:07 thanks to Carter Klippenstein's fourth of the year, but once against, the Warriors would tie it before the intermission as Martin Rysavy's 18th at 15:01 made it 2-2. Despite the Wheat Kings holding a slight shot advantage, the teams were tied as they skated off after the first period.

Right of the break, Moose Jaw took the lead thanks to Dakota MacIntosh's second of the game 19 seconds in. Despite chances at both ends of the ice, Jackson Unger and Carson Bjarnason held their own for the rest of the period, stopping a combined 23 of 24 shots. Thanks to the early goal, the Warriors entered the intermission up one and were ready for whatever Brandon would throw at them.

After some hard work to start the third, the Wheat Kings found the equalizer at 4:29 when Brett Hyland's 17th tied the game at three. It looked as though the game was headed for overtime, but Brayden Schuurman had other plans as his seventh of the year at 17:05 stood up as the winner, and the Warriors skated off with a 4-3 victory. With the win, Moose Jaw moved to 18-14-0-2 on the year, while the Wheat Kings dropped to 16-12-4-1.
