A look at which WHLers stepped up during the quarterfinals of the 2024 World Juniors.

Welcome to the WHL three stars of the day from the 2024 World Juniors. This daily article selects three WHLers who made a difference for their home country at the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship. Here are the players from the quarterfinals of the tournament.

3. Rodzers Bukarts- Latvia

While Rodzers Bukarts did not end up on the scoresheet, he played exceptionally well for Latvia. The Wenatchee Wild center won 11 of his 18 draws and played 19:26 in a 7-2 loss to the United States. It was a good showing for the 19-year-old as he matched his point total from last year's tournament.

2. Denton Mateychuk- Canada

Denton Mateychuk was a beast once again for Canada. The Moose Jaw Warriors' captain finished the night with a game-high 25:03 while recording three shots on net. One of Canada's top three players at this tournament, he played his heart out in what was the final World Juniors game of his career.

1. Dominik Rymon- Czechia

Dominik Rymon played arguably his best game all tournament. Recording two assists, the Everett Silvertips forward helped Czechia beat Canada 3-2 and punch their ticket to the semi-finals. A depth player for Czechia, he will need to have a big game versus Sweden if they have plans on making it to the Gold Medal game for the second straight year.
