Six countries outside of Canada will be represented by WHLers.

The holiday season is here, which means it is time for the 2024 World Junior Hockey Championship. This year's tournament will feature a ton of WHL content, as 12 imports are set to hit the ice and represent their countries this year. Whether it is Czechia or Norway, the majority of group-stage games will feature a WHLer as they look to return to their teams with a Gold Medal hanging around their neck.

This year, ten WHL teams will be represented by imports at the tournament. The Victoria Royals and Prince George will each have two, while the Regina Pats will have the only goaltender in Ewan Huet. All four divisions will be represented with the B.C. Division leading the way with six entries.

Overall, WHLers should play a massive role for their teams at this year's World Juniors. From Ondrej Becher to Samuel Honzek, the odds that more than one will walk away from the tournament with a medal are high. The festivities start on Dec 26 when eight WHLers hit the ice as Czechia faces off against Slovakia at 3:00 AM PT.
