Moose Jaw, Prince George, Portland and Saskatoon were included in this week's top-10 rankings.

While four WHL teams were once again featured in this week's CHL Top-10 Rankings, it was a new team leading the pack as the Moose Jaw Warriors found themselves ranked as the highest team from the Western Hockey League. After being ranked seventh last week, the Warriors jumped all the way up to second after winning three of their four games this week. One of two WHL teams with ten wins this season, they have rebounded after a slow start, winning seven of their last ten games.
One of the biggest reasons behind Moose Jaw's recent form has been the play of Jagger Firkus. The Seattle Kraken prospect is on a nine-game goal streak and is already up to 16 goals in his first 14 games of the season. Add in Pittsburgh Penguins first-rounder Brayden Yager, who is up to 20 points in 13 games, as well as Columbus Blue Jackets first-rounder and captain Denton Mateychuk, who in nine games has 15 points; it is easy to see why the Warriors are one of the favourites to represent the East in the WHL Final.
Moving up one spot from fourth to third is the Prince George Cougars. The WHL's highest-scoring team are up to 74 goals in 14 games so far this season and features three of the WHL's top five point-producing players. The current Western Conference leaders are a force and have shown time and have made life a nightmare for opposing goaltenders across the WHL.
Dropping down from first to fourth is the Portland Winterhawks, who have yet to win a game during their Alberta road trip. Despite their recent struggles, they still sit third in the league with a .667 points percentage and rank second in goals against with 32 through 12 games. Overall, they are still one of the best teams in the CHL and should return to form sooner rather than later.
Lastly, we have the Saskatoon Blades, who fell from third down to seventh. Just like Portland, the Blades have hit a little rough patch, dropping their last three games. The good news is they are still the best defensive team in the league, having only allowed 29 goals through their first 13 games and will have a chance to showcase their ability to defend with Prince George coming to town this weekend.
