The 19-year-old forward has 65 points in 163 career WHL games.

The Kamloops Blazers continued their rebuild on Tuesday, sending forward Shea Van Olm to the Spokane Chiefs. In return, the Blazers received forward Cole Wadsworth, as well as a third-round pick in 2025 and a second-round pick in 2026. Van Olm was acquired by Kamloops in 2022-23 ahead of their Memorial Cup run and has already set a new career high in points with 29 through his first 38 games of the season.

From the Chiefs' side, the hope is Van Olm can produce some secondary scoring and also help on the power play. Listed at 6'1"and 185 pounds, he has six points with the man advantage and has already surpassed the 100-shot mark for the season. Spokane currently sits ninth in the Western Conference and are just two points out of a playoff spot heading into the trade deadline.

As for the Blazers, this is the fifth trade they have made since the start of the season. They have done a great job in recouping draft picks while also adding some talented players in the process, including Wadsworth, who has six points in 20 games so far this year. General manager Shaun Clouston still has some assets he could deal before the deadline as he looks to ensure Kamloops' rebuild will be a quick one.
