    Chadwick was a sixth-round draft pick of the Maple Leafs in 2023.

    The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed Lethbridge Hurricanes Noah Chadwick to a three-year entry-level contract. Drafted 185th by the Maple Leafs in June, the Lethbridge Hurricanes defender has 24 points in 30 games this season. Listed at 6'4 "and 201 pounds, he is the first Hurricane to sign a three-year entry-level NHL contract since Dylan Cozens signed with the Buffalo Sabres. He was just the third 'Cane to be drafted by the Maple Leafs, joining Andrew Nielsen (2015) and David Brumby (1993), and was the 81st player in team history selected in the NHL Draft.

    In three seasons with Lethbridge, Chadwick has played in 110 games while recording 47 points. He was drafted in the second round by the Hurricanes back in 2020 and made his debut with the team in November of 2021. A player who has excelled against older competition, he was named the SMAAAHL's top defenseman in 2022 while also winning the Adam Herold Memorial Award, given to the league's top defensive defenseman, who exemplifies superior leadership both on the ice and in the dressing room.

    With Lethbridge fighting for a playoff spot, Chadwick's play will be crucial for them the rest of the way. He plays in all situations for Lethbridge and leads all defencemen on the team in goals, assists and points. A key player in the organization on and off the ice, he could become the first Hurricanes defenceman to hit 50 points in a season since Calen Addison and Alex Cotton in 2019-20.
