Corbin Vaughn heads to Prince George in a weekend trade.

The Prince George Cougars have acquired defenseman Corbin Vaughan (2006) in exchange for defenseman Ephram McNutt (2006) and a 2nd round draft pick in 2025.
Vaughan, a product of Kelowna, BC. heads a little closer to home in a deall announced on Sunday. The defender has spent all 98 games of his WHL career with the Regina Pats, and tallied four goals and 13 points in that span.
On the other side, McNutt is also a career Cougar, taking part in 134 WHL contests with a total of 33 points. That said, the Red Deer, Alta. product is on pace to set a new career high as he boasts 10 points in 15 games this season. Regina also picks up a 2nd round pick in the upcoming WHL Draft, which will greatly help their draft stock as the Pats have mostly been sellers as of late.
