After a long season of shake-ups and moves, the Saskatoon Blades are back in the post-season.
Going up against the Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday evening was no small task, but Saskatoon was up for it. Hunter Laing scored twice, "Super" Cooper Williams added one and Tyler Parr put on one more as the Blades scored four unanswered to take a commanding lead. Oli Chenier tucked one for the Raiders but it was too late as it came with 16 seconds remaining in regulation.
The Blades came the seventh playoff spot in the Eastern conference, and just one remains with the Swift Current Broncos following closely behind.
