
The 2024 Women's World Challenge of Para Hockey is set to take place this week in Skien, Norway. USA will look to defend their title.

The 2024 Women’s World Challenge of Para Hockey is set to drop the puck in Skien, Norway. This year the tournament will feature five teams - Canada, USA, Great Britain, Europe, and Team Pacific - from October 25-28.
Team Europe will feature athletes from Czechia, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, and Sweden. The team features veterans Solvei Harila Skjold, Caroline Persson, Anne Buisson and Lena Schroder. Schroeder played for Norway's men's team at the 2018 Paralympics becoming only the second ever woman to play at the Paralympics.
Canada's top returning stars include Raphaelle Tousignant and Alanna Mah who have both spent time with Canada's men's para hockey team.
USA is the reigning gold medalists. Their top scorers from the 2023 gold medal performance in Green Bay, USA, Lera Doederlein and Catherine Faherty, are both back.
