Caroline Harvey has been named the 2023 Bob Allen Player of the Year, given to the top women's hockey player in the USA.

Caroline Harvey, 20, a member of USA's national women's team and the NCAA's University of Wisconsin Badgers has been named the Bob Allen Player of the Year, given to the top women's hockey player in the USA.
"I'm speechless," Harvey said in a Wisconsin Badgers news release.
"It is quite the honor, seeing the list of previous honorees and being recognized in the same category doesn't feel real. I can't thank my teammates, coaches, parents, and everyone who has helped me along the way enough to get me to this point. I'm extremely grateful to be receiving this award on behalf of USA hockey."
Harvey, known as "KK" by her family and teammates, was the top scorer in the recent IIHF women's World Championship recording 14 points in seven games. She was voted a tournament All-Star leading USA to gold.
At the NCAA level, Harvey won a national championship and was named a Second Team All-American with Wisconsin.
Harvey was the top scoring American born defender in the NCAA last season scoring 39 points in 41 games for Wisconsin. The Salem, New Hampshire product was the WCHA Rookie of the Year and was also named to the NCAA Frozen Four All-Tournament team.
Harvey will be recognized for her accomplishments at June's USA Hockey's Annual Congress.
