Colgate won their fourth-consecutive ECAC Championship beating Clarkson, 3-0, for the women's hockey title.

Madeline Palumbo scored the game winner midway through the third period while Kayle Osborne stopped 30 shots for the shutout.

"As the years have stacked on, what's great is that when you get to this game you have an experienced group," head coach said Greg Fargo. "You have leaders in the room who have done it before and tonight, that calmness served us so well as the game went on."

"It was a great game," Fargo continued. "Both teams played exceptionally well all night long, but we stuck it out, continued to play our game, and we got a great goal from Madeline when it counted."

Trailing 1-0 on Palumbo's goal late, Elyssa Biederman and Emma Pais both added empty net markers in the win.

Clarkson's Michelle Pasiechnyk made 37 saves in the loss. 11 of those saves came off the stick of Colgate leading scorer Danielle Serdachny.
