The Concordia Stingers women's hockey team finished their RSEQ season with a perfect 25-0-0 season by shutting out Montreal. They enter the playoffs this week against Ottawa.

No team in Canada did what the Concordia University Stingers did this season, which was to complete an undefeated season. The Stingers finished their year Friday night with a 2-0 win over the University of Montreal Carabins to cap off a perfect 25-0-0 season.
Rookie Emilie Lussier was Concordia's offensive leader this season scoring 18 goals and 34 points in 23 games this season. Lussier, 21, played the past two seasons withn the John Abbot College Islanders, and won silver as a member of Canada's U-18 national team at the 2020 U-18 World Championships.
While the Stingers remain the top ranked team in Canada at present, their future looks bright with Lussier and netminder Arianne Leblanc as team leaders. Leblanc won gold in 2022 as a member of Canada's U-18 team at the U-18 World Championships. She was originally slated to play NCAA hockey but chose the Stingers instead. Leblanc finished this season with a perfect 10-0-0 record. In that span she only allowed 13 goals while posting a .946 save percentage and 1.07 GAA. She posted four shutouts this season, including in Concordia's final game of the season.
The Stingers are loaded with talent including Emmy Fecteau, Jessymaude Drapeau, Rosalie Begin-Cyr, and Alexandra-Anne Boyer.
Concordia will now enter the RSEQ playoffs against the University of Ottawa on February 22.
