The Concordia Stingers women's hockey team put up double digits in a deciding game against the University of Montreal to claim their third straight RSEQ title.
After falling to Montreal 3-2 in the opening game of the best-of-three series, Concordia bounced back with a 4-1 win in game two to force a deciding game.
In game three, it was all Concordia as they piled in ten goals in a 10-4 win to capture the RSEQ championship.
Jessymaude Drapeau scored a pair of goals, as did captain Emmy Fecteau who had a five point night, and Megan Bureau-Gagnon who finished with four points.
Other goal scorers for Concordia in the win were Rosalie Begin Cyr, Emilie Lussier, Camille Richard, and Alexandra-Anne Boyer.
Concordia will now advance to the USports national championships in Saskatoon. The lone other team to win their way to the tournament so far is Canada West champs, the UBC Thunderbirds.
