The Concordia Stingers, appearing in their third national championship final in as many years, won the USports national title with a 3-1 win over the University of Toronto.

Just over a minute into the game, Emilie Lussier got Concordia on the board first. Before the midway point in the opening frame, Jessymaude Drapeau added to Concordia's lead, with assists going to Rosalie Begin-Cyr and Leonie Philbert.

After a scoreless second period, Begin-Cyr would score one of her own on the powerplay with helpers from Emmy Fecteau and Zoe Thibault.

It was all the scoring the Stingers would need. Toronto's Emma Potter scored one for her team in the final minute of play, but Jordyn Verbeek stood tall in the Concordia net stopping 19 of 20 shots faced.

Jessymaude Drapeau was named the USports national championships tournament MVP finishing with two goals and three points in three games.

    Montreal Carabins Win Bronze

The Montreal Carabins beat the Waterloo Warriors in a shootout to claim bronze at the USports national championships. Brooklyn Cole got Waterloo on the board first, a lead they held until 25 seconds remaining in the game when Juliette Rolland tied the game for Montreal in the dying seconds with the goalie pulled for the extra attacker. In the shootout, Kelly-Ann Nadeau scored the only goal for either team, which was enough to lift Montreal to the 2-1 victory and a bronze medal.
