The Cornell Big Red came out victorious as the 2025 ECAC women’s hockey champions.

Annelies Bergmann made 27 saves as Cornell beat Colgate 5-1 for the ECAC crown.

Only 24 seconds apart in the opening two minutes of the first period, McKenna Van Gelder and Lindzi Avar made it 2-0 for Cornell.

Kaia Malachino pulled Colgate within one in the second, but that’s as close as Colgate would get in the fame.

Karel Prefontaine reclaimed Cornell’s two-goal lead in the third which was solidified late by a pair of empty net goals from Katie Chan and Kaitlin Jockims.
