
A crash involving four members of the national champion Gustavus Adolphus College women's hockey team claimed the life of goaltender Jori Jones.

Four members of the Gustavus Adolphus College women's hockey team, reigning NCAA Division III champions, were involved in an automobile crash on August 20.
The crash claimed the life of 19-year-old Jori Jones, a goaltender for Gustavus.
Jones had recently completed her rookie season with the Gusties, appearing in six games. The Little Canada, Minnesota product was a graduate of Roseville High.
The SUV the women were in collided with a minivan at 12:40pm on Sunday after, according to the Star Tribune, one of the drivers failed to obey a stop sign.
The three members of the Gustavus Adolphus team who suffered non-critical injuries were identified as Gianna Gasparini, Kayla Bluhm, Lily Mortenson, 19, of Champlin.
Gustavus Alpophus won the NCAA DIII national championship in March.
