Caroline Harvey, Tessa Janecke, and Abbey Murphy have been named the top-three finalists of the 2026 Patty Kazmaier Award.

Caroline Harvey, Tessa Janecke, and Abbey Murphy have been named the top-three finalists for the 2026 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award.

The winner will be announced tomorrow, March 12 at 12:30pm ET.

Harvey was named WCHA Defensive Player of the Year, Player of the Year, Olympic MVP, Olympic Best Defender, and an Olympic All-Star this season. The University of Wisconsin blueliner is The Hockey News' top ranked prospect for the 2026 PWHL Draft. Harvey was the NCAA's top scoring defender this season.

Janecke, who captains Penn State, was also a member of USA's Olympic gold medal winning roster and was named the Atlantic Hockey America Player of the Year and Forward of the Year.

Murphy, a University of Minnesota senior and member of USA's gold medal winning roster was the WCHA Forward of the Year. Murphy was second in the NCAA in goals this season and second in points.
