Northeastern defender Megan Carter was named Hockey East's Defender of the Year for the second straight season. The 22-year-old Huskies' captain finished with 22 points in 31 games this season. She's certain to be a priority pick for PWHL teams looking to bolster their blueline next season.
Hockey East also named UConn's Kathryn Stockdale the conference's Best Defensive Forward, awarded New Hampshire's Annie Berry with the Sportsmanship Award, and Northeastern netminder Gwyneth Philips as the Three Stars Award winner.
Along with a handful of awards heading to those senior players, Hockey East also recognized their 2023-2024 All-Rookie team.
Boston College's Sammy Taber was the lone unanimous selection. She was joined by netminder Sedona Blair (New Hampshire), defender Molly Jordan (Boston College), and forwards Ashley Allard (UConn), Audrey Knapp (Providence), Allie Lalonde (Northeastern), Kaylee Lewis (Vermont), and Julia Pellerin (Boston College).
