Julia Gosling is already on Canada's radar, but she very well could be next in line for a roster spot with Canada's senior national team.

Last season, Gosling represented Canada in a pair of games at the Rivalry Series, and this Fall scored for Canada Red at the Canadian national team's Fall selection camp.

This year, Gosling is off to a torrid start captaining St. Lawrence University. Through her first games this season, Gosling has five goals and 11 points to lead the ECAC in scoring.

The 5-foot-11 power forward sees the ice well, and takes herself and puck to the middle of the ice. Looking at Canada's current roster, Gosling looks like the next in line to provide a presence similar to Natalie Spooner or Laura Stacey.

Last year, Gosling scored 46 points in 39 games for St. Lawrence and is on pace to shatter those totals this year. Gosling has twice represented Canada at the U-18 World Championships winning bronze and gold. With Canada's loss to a Team USA roster in 2023 heavily relyiant on NCAA talent, Canada could look to follow a similar blueprint. If they do, Julia Gosling could be the next in line.
