Former Harvard women's hockey coach Katey Stone, who retired in 2023 amidst unaddressed allegations of abuse under her watch, and at her hands, is set to address media this week for the first time following her retirement.

According to reports first published in the Boston Globe, Stone allegedly made racist remarks, body shamed players, allowed hazing, and disciplined and pushed players to a level causing them to seek mental health supports. The allegations came from 20 former players regarding the reported "toxic environment.

A media advisory was sent regarding Stone's upcoming press conference, scheduled for Tuesday, July 23 in Boston at 12pm.

Stone "will make a major announcement and, for the first time, tell her story," at the press conference alongside her lawyer Andrew T. Miltenberg. Miltenberg is a civil litigator specializing in campus misconduct, due process, Title IX, and business litigation.

Also participating in the press conference will be Kalley Armstrong, Nicole Corriero, and Jamie Hagerman Phinney, who will each deliver remarks.
