Brown University upset #8 Quinnipiac Saturday, a win that was punctuated by Margot Norehad's unbelievable lacrosse style goal.
Once known as the "Michigan" it can now be renamed the "Brown."
After Quinnipiac opened the scoring in the second period, Brown's Gali Levy knotted it at 1-1 only 1:59 into the third. Approaching the midway point of the frame, Norehad drove down the left wing before scooping the puck onto her stick behind Quinnipiac's net and roofing it over one of the NCAA's top netminders, Logan Angers.
Jade Iginla would add a goal and an assist later in the third for Brown as insurance, but it was Norehad's remarkable goal that stood as the game winner.
The win improved Brown to 9-12-2 on the season.
