The Metropolitan Riveters continue to add to their roster signing Anneke Linser, Naomi Rogge, and Abby Cook.

The Metropolitan Riveters' roster is getting closer to completion after the club announced the signing of three players - Anneke Linser, Naomi Rogge, and Abby Cook - to one-year contracts.
Linser spent five seasons with the University of Minnesota-Duluth. The former U-18 national team member scored 17 goals and 30 points in 39 games as a senior.
“Anneke had a successful college career at UMD and we’re looking forward to have her kick off her professional playing career with us,” said Riveters coach Venla Hovi in a press release. “She is a two-way forward, a great forechecker with a long reach and is very effective around the net. She thinks the game well and is therefore smart positionally and shares the puck with poise. This is an exciting step in her career and she has the abilities to thrive at the next level.”
Rogge is also a five-year standout with Minnesota-Duluth scoring 21 points in 39 games last season for the Bulldogs.
"Naomi is a well-rounded forward who has upsides both ends of the ice,” said Hovi. “She contributed positively in many roles playing her college years at UMD which speaks volumes of her ability to read situations.” She is an effective penalty killer and has a shot blocking mentality which is what we need to be better at this upcoming season. She has above average quick release shot and hunts for loose pucks around the net."
Finally, the Riveters signed Abby Cook, a player who joins the club with professional experience playing in Sweden and last season in Switzerland.
Cook, a five-foot-ten Boston University alumni had 12 points in 18 games for Lugano last season.
"After a season in Switzerland and finding her way in pro, we are glad to bring Abby back to North America and on board with the Rivs,” Hovi said. “Her ability to deliver pucks to the net and her overall skillset makes us stronger offensively. Abby can make quick plays up the ice on breakouts and transitions, which will help us play faster as a team. We are excited to have her.”
