Kiara Zanon opened the scoring in the first period. Zanon was standing at the net front and found the loose puck after Jenna Buglioni put the puck toward the net from behind the goal line.
In the second period, Ohio State got a pair of goals to round out their scoring, both coming on the power play from Jennifer Gardiner. Ohio State outshot Wisconsin 30-19 in the win, with Raygan Kirk stopping all 19 she faced for Ohio State.
Ohio State improved to 10-1-0 while Wisconsin fell to 12-1-0.
