Ohio State Buckeyes grad Paetyn Levis has signed a two-year contract with the PHF's Minnesota Whitecaps.

Levis, a product of Rogers, Minnesota, is coming off back-to-back seasons scoring more than 20 goals in the NCAA. Last year she notched 21 goals and 40 points in 41 games coming off a 24 goal, 53 point campaign in 38 games the season prior.

“The kid scores goals. Plain and simple,” said Whitecaps general manager Chi-Yin Tse. “You can tell she went through a little bit of transformation from her first couple of years to the last two years. She figured out how to rack up points and that is exactly what we needed to bring to this team - another offensive threat that gives us four deep lines.”

Levis, 23, will be one of several Minnesota products joining the Whitecaps this season including Ohio State teammate Madison Bizal who also signed with the team.

“I am honored to start my pro career in Minnesota,” Levis said. “Being from Minnesota, growing up with the Whitecaps playing nearby, I have always admired them so having the opportunity to play for this organization that I've been inspired by is really exciting.”
