

Madison Primeau, a member of Robert Morris University's women's hockey team gave back this spring working with 'Sticks Together', a non-profit aiming "to provide the necessary resources to give children in underprivileged communities the opportunity to learn and play the sport of hockey."
Primeau travelled to Muizenberg, South Africa working with more than 400 children to teach them hockey.
"The game of hockey has given me so much," said Primeau in a press release. "My goal is to share with others the same joy that it has brought onto me. Sticks Together gives me that opportunity."
"Madi exemplifies the traits that we have come to expect from our student-athletes," said Robert Morris head coach Logan Bittle. "Her commitment to her academics, athletics and the community is spectacular and we're very much looking forward to having her at RMU."
Primeau joins Robert Morris through the transfer portal after playing for Syracuse University the opast two seasons where she scored 20 points last season.
Now she joins a Robert Morris squad looking to make an impact in the NCAA after the program took a two-year hiatus.
"I'm looking forward to this next chapter in my life at RMU," said Primeau. "I'm excited to learn and grow as a person and as a player."
