Seven NCAA D1 hockey coaches have been recognized as CCM/ACHA Coach of the Year finalists.
The American Hockey Coaches Association named seven finalists for the 2026 women's hockey CCM/ACHA Coach of the Year honor.
The nominees include ECAC Coach of the Year Mark Bolding (Yale), AHA Coach of the Year Jeff Kampersal (Penn State), NEWHA Coach of the Year David Stockdale (Franklin Pierce University), NEWHA Coach of the Year, and Hockey East Coach of the Year Katie Lachapelle (Holy Cross).
WCHA Coach of the Year, Mark Johnson (Wisconsin), who is the reigning national coach of the year was also named a finalist. Johnson recently earned his 700th career victory behind Wisconsin's bench.
The other finalists include Northeastern's Dave Flint, and Ohio State's Nadine Muzerall, Ohio State, who both guided their programs to Frozen Four appearances this year.
