Kirsten Simms, Caroline Harvey, Sanni Ahola, and Joy Dunne were the recipients of the WCHA's major awards for the 2023-2024 NCAA women's hockey season.

Simms led the entire NCAA in scoring this season with 67 points in 34 games with the University of Wisconsin. Her efforts earned Simms recognition as the WCHA Forward of the Year. This honor was won the past two seasons by Taylor Heise, who was the PWHL's first overall pick this year for PWHL Minnesota.

The WCHA Defender of the Year was Caroline Harvey, also of the University of Wisconsin. Harvey was the 2023 USA Hockey Player of the Year and led the 2023 World Championships in scoring, leading USA to gold. This season Harvey finished the season with 33 points in 27 games despite missing six weeks with a lower body injury. She is the reigning WCHA Rookie of the Year. Last year this award was won by PWHL Minnesota's Sophie Jaques.

St. Cloud State's Sanni Ahola was named the WCHA Goaltender after posting a 1.72 GAA and .935 save percentage in 17 games this season. She was the national goalie of the month in September and December this year.

Rounding out the major awards in the WCHA was the conference's Rookie of the Year, Joy Dunne. Dunne scored 20 goals and 36 points in 34 games for Ohio State this season.
