    Penn State's Tessa Janecke won three individual awards, while Mercyhurst players won four awards in the 2023-2024 College Hockey America individual awards.

    College Hockey America announced their individual award winners for the 2023-2024 season led by Penn State's Tessa Janecke who earned a trio of awards.

    Janecke was the recipient of the Meghan Agosta Player of the Year, Vicki Bendus Forward of the Year, and was the CHA's Scoring Champion. Janecke, who is in her second year at Penn State, finished fourth in the nation in scoring with 53 points in 36 games this season.

    Sydney Pedersen of Mercyhurst was the CHA's Molly Byrne Best Defenseman selection. The defedner recorded  26 points and 58 blocked shots.

    Mercyhurst netminder Ena Nystrøm took home her second consecutive Brianne McLaughlin Goaltender of the Year Award. The Stavanger, Norway, native has posted a 20-15-1 mark in net for the Lakers this season with a 2.22 save percentage and a .926 save percentage and is tied for third nationally in shutouts with six. 

    Robert Morris' Alaina Giampietro won the Nicole Hensley Rookie of the Year Award after recording 31 points, including 19 goals and 12 assists. 

    Other awards handed out include the Scholar-Athlete of the Year, which went to Syracuse forward Tatum White, Best Defensive Forward, which was won by Mercyhurst's Kylee Mahoney, the Sportsmanship Award which went to Mercyhurst's Vanessa Upson, and CHA Coach of the Year, awarded to Penn State's Jeff Kampersal.
