
The University of Wisconsin women's hockey team enters the final series of their regular season as the unanimous top ranked team in NCAA women's hockey.

The Wisconsin Badgers women's hockey team remained the unanimous top ranked team in the nation. Sitting with a 27-1-2 record, Wisconsin won a pair of games this week, both 2-1 against sixth ranked Minnesota-Duluth.
This weekend, Wisconsin will host its final regular-season series hosting the third ranked team in the nation, Minnesota, in Madison. Both games are sold out including Saturday's 2pm puck drop, and Sunday's 12pm game.
Saturday Wisconsin will honor their graduating players recognizing Lacey Eden, Katie Kotlowski, Quinn Kuntz, Casey O’Brien, Marianne Picard and Sarah Wozniewicz prior to puck drop for their annual Senior Day.
Wisconsin also enters the weekend with four of the top five scorers in the nation led by senior Casey O'Brien, who is considered a top prospect for the 2025 PWHL Draft. O'Brien has 59 points in 30 games. She's followed by the top goal scorer in NCAA hockey, Laila Edwards, who has 26 goals and 55 points in 30 games. Behind this duo are Kirsten Simms and Caroline Harvey who are fourth and fifth respectively.
In net, Ava McNaughton has the best GAA in NCAA hockey at 1.16 and sits second in the nation in save percentage at .949.
Wisconsin will look to avenge last season's NCAA final loss to Ohio State moving into the postseason. They are the reigning WCHA champions.
