Alina Muller was one of several European players destined for the PWHL to sign temporary contracts overseas. Muller inked a deal to train and play with the ZSC Lions in the SWHL-A until the open of PWHL training camps in November.

In her first game in a ZSC Lions uniform this weekend, Muller wasted no time in wowing the crowd scoring five goals and adding an assist in a 9-2 win over Neuchâtel Hockey Academy.

Muller was the third overall pick in the PWHL Draft selected by Boston following a spectacular five year NCAA career with Northeastern. She's also the centrepiece for Switzerland's attack in international competition.

With her single game total, Muller is already tied for second in ZSC Lions scoring trailing only captain and fellow national team member Sinja Leeman who has eight points in five games.

Muller last played in Switzerland's domestic league in 2018 prior to joining Northeastern.
