Canada didn't change much with their 2024 IIHF World Championship roster.

The lone newcomers to the national program are defender Nicole Gosling and forward Julia Gosling. The cousins were reunited this winter at the Rivalry Series and will be counted upon to make an impact with Canada at Worlds.

In the Rivalry Series, Nicole Gosling's decision making, strength with the puck, and ability to defend against USA's rush were evident. She provides a layer to her game that Canada was missing last year. She'll be joined by Ashton Bell on the blueline, who returns to Canada's national tream.

Up front, Julia Gosling is a prototypical power forward. She uses her size and strength effectively to get to the front of the net, or drive around opponents. Gosling, the captain of St. Lawrence University, showed strong chemistry with Danielle Serdachny at the Rivalry Series, and the duo could be a big portion of Canada's answer to USA's young and talented forward corps.

Canada fell to USA last year in the gold medal game. Not returning from that team at Micah Zandee-Hart, Claire Thompson, and Rebecca Johnston. The rest of Canada's roster remains unchanged.
