Czechia’s World Championship roster is filled with familiar names from the PWHL, SDHL, and last year’s bronze medal winning team.

All of the PWHL’s available Czech born players were named to the roster including Katerina Mrazova and Aneta Tejralova (Ottawa), Tereza Vanisova (Montreal), and Denisa Krisova (Minnesota). The team suffered a major loss from their roster as Dominika Laskova remains out with a lower body injury.

Czechia’s forward group also includes offensive leaders Adela Šapovalivová (MoDo), and Michaela Pejzlova (HIFK), and Hockey East Player of the Year Natalie Mylnkova from the University of Vermont. Rounding out their forward group is Anežka Čabelová (RINK Kelowna), Klára Hymlárová (St. Cloud State University), Anna Kalová (Kiekko), Noemi Neubauerová (Brynäs IF), Tereza Pištěková (HPK), Tereza Plosová (Djurgardens IF), and Vendula Přibylová (MoDo Hockey).

Šapovalivová, Pištěková, and Čabelová all made history in January winning Czechia's first ever silver medal in IIHF competition leading the nation to a historic upset over Canada en route to a silver medal. Šapovalivová will join the University of Minnesota next season at the NCAA level, where she'll be joined by Czech teammate Tereza Plosová the following season. Čabelová is committed to play for Boston University beginning in 2025-2026.

On the blueline, ECAC All-Rookie team member Andrea Trnková (RPI), joins Tejralova and Sára Čajanová (Brynäs IF), Klára Jandušíková (Colby College), Daniela Pejšová (Luleå HF), Tereza Radová (Leksand IF), and Klára Seroiszková (HV71).

Rounding out Czechia's roster for the 2024 tournament are netminders Klára Peslarová (Brynäs IF), Blanka Škodová (AIK), and Viktorie Švejdová (SDE).
