Czechia will play for a medal at the U-18 World Championships for the first time in years, and will look to win only their third ever medal at the tournament and first since 2014.

Key to the success of Czechia have been senior national team members Adela Sapovalivova and Tereza Plosova. Sapovalivova has seven goals through eight games while Plosova has six assists and a goal.

Czechia has other contributors in the event including Adela Fromova, Barbora Jurickova, and Anezka Cabelova who have all logged big minutes for Czechia thus far.

Cabelova was third on the Czech roster through the preliminary round with five assists.
