Danielle Serdachny averaged only 7:13 minutes per game for Canada at the World Championships last year. It's likely she'll be playing a lot more than that moving forward.

At the November stops on the Rivalry Series, Serdachny emerged as one of Canada's top scoring threats. It should be no surprise considering the Colgate star topped all NCAA scorers last season with 71 points in 40 games.

In her first two Rivalry Series games of this year, Serdchny scored in each game, showcasing her size, puck protection, and willingness to get to the middle of the ice to create chances.

Her performance, as the games went on earned Serdachny more ice time and responsibility. In Canada's first win of the series, a 3-2 win in Sarnia, Serdachny was playing more than her share in the third, and was on the ice for Canada in overtime, and even earned an opportunity to shoot for Canada in the shootout.

Here's what Serdachny had to say about her performance with Canada and her future career.
