
Canadian forward Hannah Miller was deemed ineligible to play for Team Canada at the World Championships in 2025 in Czechia due to her previous inclusion with the Chinese national team. According to a post from TSN's Kenzie Lalonde,
Scott Salmond and Hockey Canada expect a decision 'any day now' on the status of Hannah Miller’s eligibility for Milano Cortina 2026. The direct quote from Salmond is,
“...there’s an appeal that we filed on behalf of Hannah that would be in front of the IIHF, we actually expect a decision any day, but we're quite adamant about the rules and the regulations, and we feel we're within them, and we think that Hannah is a candidate for our Olympic team.”
