PWHL Boston's Emma Soderberg made 40 saves for Team Sweden who opened the final stage of the 2023-2024 Euro Hockey Tour with a 2-1 shootout win over Finland.

The lone player to beat Soderberg was Finnish star Petra Nieminen who carried the puck through the neutral zone before driving around the Swedish defence and ripping a puck over Soderberg's glove to give Finland a 1-0 lead in the first.

After a scoreless second period where Sweden was forced to kill three penalties, Ebba Berglund tied the game with just over 10 minutes to go in the third period. Following a flurry of pressure around Finland's net, Berglund swooped in from the point to pick of a bad backhand pass by Finland's Sanni Rantala before beating netminder Tiia Pajarinen to even the score.

Needing a shootout, Noora Tulus and Hilda Svensson traded goals before Soderberg shut the door and Sweden's Emma Forsgren managed to beat Pajarinen to secure the 2-1 win.
