    Switzerland's EV Zug played a hard fought game against Germany's ECDC Memmingen to capture the 2024 Euro Cup, an event organized by the EWHL.

    With the deciding game tied 2-2 late in the third period, Toronto Sceptres draft pick Noemi Neubauerova took a pass from Swiss national team captain Lara Stalder to score the winner in the 3-2 decision in front of 1,441 fans.

    Celina Haider and Nara Elia had Memmingen's goals, while Annika Fazokas and Lena-Marie Lutz had the other EV Zug goals.

    Zug plays in Switzerland's PostFinance Women's League, while Memmingen plays in the DFEL.

    Zug advanced to the final shutting out MAC Budapest 8-0, while Memmingen beat HK Budapest 6-4. Playing for third place Alexandra Huszák scored a third period tying goal and an overtime winning goal to list MAC Budapest to a 2-1 win.

    EV Zug's Annika Fazokas and Lara Stalder were named to the EWHL Euro Cup All-Star team. They were joined by Memmingen's Selma Luggin, Carina Strobel, and Nara Elia, and Madeline Leidt of HK Budapest.
