The 2024-2025 Rivalry Series will visit California, Utah, Idaho, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island in a new five game format.
Canada and USA will play a five game Rivalry Series in 2024-2025 including two stops in Canada's Maritime provinces, and three American stops in the West.
The United States will host the first three games of the Rivalry Series in November, with the first to take place on November 6 at the Tech CU Arena in San Jose, California.
Game two of the series will go two days later at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah, followed by game three on Sunday, November 10 at Idaho Central Arena in Boise, Idaho.
The teams will not play their typical December dates, rather skipping those games for a shorter series which will culminate in February in Canada.
During those stops, Canada and USA's national teams will play a pair of games in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. On February 6, the teams will face off at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The fifth and final game of the series will take place at the Credit Union Place in Summerside, PEI on February 8.
The Rivalry Series has become an annual event between Canada and USA since the 2018-2019 season as a portion of the selection process for the North American national teams, and also to provide exposure for women's hockey in North America.
Last year USA won the first games of the Rivalry Series season before Canada fought back to win the series 4-3.
