The 2026 Olympics are the next major international women's hockey event. With Russia banned from competing, France earned the final spot among the 10 team pool.
The event will include two groups. Group A will include Czechia, Switzerland, USA, Finland, and Canada. Group B at the tournament will feature Sweden, Germany, France, Japan, and the hosts, Italy.
The event sticks with the soon to be antiquated system of tiering nations in women's ice hockey. The World Championships will move away from the system permanently, which has been discussed as a continued barrier to international growth.
Here's a full schedule of games, which will take place at the Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena and Milano Santagiula Ice Hockey Arena. All times are local to Milano.
