
Germany swept the competition at the 2024 Deutschland Cup beating Hungary, Slovakia, and France.

While the Rivalry Series was taking place in the USA, and Lidl Hockey Games in Sweden, another international tournament, the Deutschland Cup was underway in Germany.
Playing in front of 3,070 fans in Landshut, Germany's senior national women's team beat Hungary 3-1 to secure the win. Emily Nix, Jule Schiefer and Nicola Eisenschmid-Hadraschek were the German goal scorers, while Sandra Abstreiter made 17 saves in the win. Kinga Jokai Szilagyi had the lone goal for Hungary.
Earlier in the week Germany beat Slovakia 2-1. Daria Gleißner and Eisenschmid-Hadraschek had the German goals, while 17-year-old Ema Tothova, who is one of Europe's budding stars, scored Slovakia's goal.
To open the Deutschland Cup, Germany defeated France 4-1. Nix, Schiefer, Gleißner, and Katarina Hackelsmiller were Germany's goal scorers. Lisa Cedelle had France's goal.
Hungary finished second in the tournament beating France in overtime and Slovakia in regulation. France was third with a win over Slovakia, while Slovakia went winless.
France forward Clara Rozier was the leading scorer in the tournament with five goals and eight points in three games. French teammate Estelle Duvin was second recording six assists, while Slovakia's Janka Hlinkova rounded out the top three scorers in the tournament with five points in three games.
Sandra Abstreiter was the top goaltender in the tournament posting a 1.00 GAA and .945 save percentage.
